This is an adaptation of a presentation I gave at Neptune Mountaineering in Boulder this November.  Why do I keep going back to Chile?

The Art of The Down Day

Down days are a given in the big mountains. For most people, doing "nothing"  is the most challenging part of the trip.

Buena Onda

It's incredible how quickly things can change in a place as dynamic as this.  Sometimes I lose my mind.  Sometimes I see things that astonish me.

Fear

Based on a recent trip where I was constantly battling with one group member's fear.  It wasn't unfounded; but it wasn't rational either.  Emotions are a part of the process – hopefully not the end.

Returning to Slovenia

After five-years away from a place that challenged me like no other, and has had profound effects on my life, I am returning to Slovenia. I hope I much better prepared this time around.

Change in Chile

I have seen a lot of change in eleven-years in Chile.  Some of it is good; some not so good.  I see opportunities in the challenges faced here.

A Different Look

Spring is a time to re-build.  I spend time on my bike, try to get as much sun as possible and also tie up loose ends with my businesses.  High on that list each year is to create a new website. Being July, I won't have any fresh skiing content for a few-weeks. So I thought I'd use the opportunity to share some of my other interests.
